Twelve-year-old Aero Jackson is a middle schooler from rural Iowa who loves two things: space and music. Although he seems nerdy and reserved to his friends and the outside world, Aero’s true passion is becoming a rock 'n roll superstar. He unleashes his hidden alter ego in the privacy of his bedroom, where he transmits his music into space via his music studio satellite.

One day, an alien named Nixabel Graaxnad, affectionately known as Nix, shows up in Aero’s bedroom with some surprising news: Aero is the galaxy’s most famous musician. He’s an intergalactic music star, and Nix is here to take him on tour.

FAR AWAY STAR is about Aero’s double life as an everyday middle schooler who moonlights as a truly universal rock star.
